Special Investigating Unit (SIU)
🚨FAKE NEWS! #KnowYourSIU| 1. The SIU does not target people nor do we investigate people. We investigate procurement processes in State Institutions and all levels of government departments, and it's through these processes that we find people who are responsible. In simple terms, we follow the money and the money leads us to people. 2. The law that governs the SIU states that the SIU does not identify its own investigations. We receive allegations, which we then assess to see if falls within our mandate, and we write a motivation for a proclamation to the President for authorisation. We rely on whistleblowers or people reporting to our hotline, which is 0800 037 774. Email siu@thehotline.co.za

@Princymthombeni There's nothing wrong with having dialogue about immigration, being physical is what is wrong. South Africans are not Xenophobic, you are Afrophobic you hate fellow Africans because you turn a blind eye on people from other continents. You suffer from self hate and it's idiotic

Every “war” is won through bloodshed—usually after negotiations & compromises have failed💔 I wish S. Africans would NOT be pushed to take to the streets because of speeches like this from a sitting president🤮 What motivates a country’s president to defend illegal foreigners?

@ZambezInstitute There's nothing that the anc is going to do because they also know what currently happening in South Africa is their fault and they know there's nothing they can do to stop us. People will respect South Africa and its laws. By fire, by force

Authorities in SouthAfrica have pledged to clamp down on xenophobic attacks after Ghana raised concerns over violence against its citizens. Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Ablakwa summoned the South African envoy, calling for measures to prevent further incidents. Police have warned that anyone involved in or promoting such attacks will be identified, arrested, and prosecuted. According to @cgtnafrica

The biggest mistake those South Africans did was to touch a Ghanaian while @S_OkudzetoAblak is the Foreign Minister of Ghana and @samgeorgegh is the Minister for Communication. I mean that was a serious blunder. I will tell you why. Remember when Israel messed with some Ghanaians in Tel Aviv and deported three diplomats? Our foreign minister didn’t waste a second, not even a statement. He also deported three of their nationals before releasing a statement. Israel had to apologize. That’s how you confront bullies. Remember when an American senator spoke silly about Ghana? Okudzeto was on his neck like Undertaker. He fixed the man in his place. The American consulate in Ghana quickly went over to de - escalate issues. In these times when this man is foreign minister of Kwame Nkrumahs Ghana, you won’t mess with a Ghanaian and go Scot free. Remember when DSTV felt they could play games with Sam George, he fixed them in their place. They had to save face. Strong men build strong institutions. So to my Zambian, Nigerian, Zimbabwean, Namibian and all other African brethren, it’s time to show South Africa that this is not the era of releasing statements as usual. It is the time to respond economically and diplomatically. It’s time to sanction South African business and envoys in your country for each of your citizens beaten in South Africa. It’s time to make it clear that in this era, no one mistreats an African on African soil and goes Scot free. That time is past. It’s a new era for Africanism. Let’s do this and end this nonsense of xenophobia once and for all! @DavidHundeyin #sanctionsouthafrica

Why do you go on to @ttack 'illegal migrants' ?Whiles there is an appropriate way to handle them. A civilian has 'no right' to abuse or assault any foreigner who lives in your country—It’s a crime. I do not condone illegal activities but in your case, you’re @ttacking "all foreigners". Wether or not you’re an "Illegal immigrant". I believe South Africa has the appropriate authority to handle such situations carefully with diplomacy to avoid retaliation or cause chaos. As a civilian, what you can do is to go on a 'peaceful demonstration' to show your concern. Just like how Ghanaians did during this 'Igbo king' saga. Demonstrate to your authorities and they will react accordingly. not you carrying the law in your hands. Mind you, there are also South Africans in other African countries doing businesses. Let’s not act before we think.

Black South Africans are 80% of the population. White South Africans are 7.8% of thw population but own 80% of the land and money. The rich people who own the whole country have convinced black south Africans that Migrants who make up just 4% of the population are the reason they are broke. Divide and Rule is alive and well in SA.

A South African going against a Ghanian is such a shock. This is xenophobia dressed up as protecting the country. Blaming migrants won’t fix whatever you are fighting for. This is stupidity and a failure of humanity.

@Dzungie007 @nofiltervp Nigeria sent $61 billion to SA for that struggle. I hope you discovered that during your research. Nobody succeeds alone. Life is in ebbs and flows. Only unwise people ignore this. Friends and allies are built in time of peace and prosperity because tomorrow is unknown.

Apartheid didn't fall because a handful of South Africans ran to Nigeria. It fell because millions stayed and fought backed by global pressure, sanctions, and decades of internal resistance.

Africans are angry at South Africans because your people are busy dehumanising fellow Africans every day, they hunt them down like animals and beat them or even kill them and also loot or burn down their businesses. These mobs don't even care if you have a permit. They call it fake and beat the he'll put of you. This is what people like you are enabling, what a shame.
