I was repenting of my sins before I was saved. I was quitting substances, I was leaving people who pulled me into darkness, I was ceasing porn use, I was trying to be a better person to others, and guess what? None of that could ever save me. Jesus Christ ✝️🩸alone saved me.

@_Navidson Salvation is received at the moment of belief in the Lord Jesus Christ's finished work. It's not a life long process, if it were, it would be meritorious. It's instant. If you choose to respond to the free gift of grace after having received it with carnality, that's on you.

@_Navidson It's something every Christian ought to be doing to not diminish their testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lost people mock carnal Christians, see the Corinthians.

Faith is a grace. But a lot of people do not consider faith a work because they don't work on their faith. You can't separate one from the other.

We’re all priests and that guy in a collar doesn’t have anymore authority in Christ than you to baptize people, anoint them with oil, perform communion, hear confession, intercede on behalf of others. Most churches have adopted a Babylonian clergy system and call it Christianity

Protestantism gets a lot of hate on X. But the hymns of Protestantism are unmatched. How can you sing, "It is Well" or "Amazing Grace" or "Rise My Soul the Lord is Risen" and not be moved? These songs are infused with the Spirit of God.
