We used toose so many of our champions to highly rich countries. I hope & wish that one day, our sportsmen and sportswomen will be treated well.

In 2025, Sabastian Sawe asked the AIU to test him as frequently as possible. He underwent 25 tests in the build-up to the Berlin Marathon, blood and urine, around 2–3 times per week, including days where he was tested twice. He maintained that same approach into 2026. Now, he has broken the Marathon World Record, clocking 1:59:30 in London. Officially the first man to go sub-2 in the marathon.

Ever wondered why you can’t bump start an automatic car? In a manual car, you can push the vehicle, engage a gear, then release the clutch. The movement of the wheels turns the gearbox, which turns the engine’s crankshaft and can start the engine. When the engine is off, that pressure is not there, so pushing the car will not turn the engine enough to start it. That’s why you can push start most manual cars, but not most automatic cars. WHAT KIND OF NATION ARE WE BECOMING? I speak with deep pain and anger as my home, Mbeere North in Embu County, mourns the loss of two lives cut short after police allegedly opened fire on peaceful demonstrators in Ishiara. As a son of this soil, this is personal. These are my people, citizens who had taken to the streets not in violence, but in protest over the deteriorating state of healthcare in our county. The situation at Ishiara Level 4 Hospital is dire, and residents have every right to demand better services, better facilities, and dignity in healthcare. Instead of listening to their cries, the response was bullets. Reports that the officers involved were in plain clothes raise grave concerns about accountability, command, and the rule of law. Who was in charge? Who gave the orders? Why are peaceful citizens being treated as enemies? This is not the Kenya we should be building. A nation where citizens are gunned down for demanding basic services is a nation drifting dangerously off course. The collapse of the health sector at the county level is now costing lives, not just in hospitals, but on the streets where frustrated wananchi are left with no option but to speak out. I stand firmly with the people of Ishiara. And on a personal level, I will not rest until justice is served. I will pursue every avenue necessary to ensure that those responsible are held accountable and that such a tragedy never happens again. I demand an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation into this incident. Those responsible must be brought to book without delay. We cannot normalize violence against unarmed citizens. We must defend the right to peaceful assembly, restore accountability in our security agencies, and fix the broken systems that are pushing our people to the edge. My thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones. We stand with you in grief, and in the pursuit of justice. Justice must not only be done, it must be seen to be done.

Boarded a bus this morning and this conductor collected money from everyone, all of a sudden the bus stopped driver said fuel has finished, he gave the conductor money to get fuel and the conductor disappeared for like 30 mins, driver said he wants to look for
