Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, Hon. Ohene Kwame Frimpong (@_OKFrimpong ), has appealed to President John Mahama to establish a tomato processing factory in his constituency. According to him, tomatoes are in abundance in the area, but farmers are currently struggling to sell their produce. The MP, together with a group of tomato farmers, displayed boxes of tomatoes that remain unsold, stressing that a whole box is going for as low as GHS 500.
