After reviewing her case, the doctors have asked that she restart treatment with 4 rounds of chemotherapy and blood count tests. The cost for these first chemotherapy sessions is approximately ₦700,000. When we add her medications and other necessary medical expenses, we are looking at close to ₦1,000,000 just to begin this phase of treatment again.

My mum was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (SBR Grade 2, Score 6). She started chemotherapy at Federal Medical Center, Ebute Metta, but due to financial challenges, we couldn’t complete her treatment or proceed with the surgery her doctors recommended. She has now gone back to the hospital to continue her fight.
