We’re the first generation to live two lives at once: the one we actually have and the “perfect” one we feel forced to post. It’s exhausting to measure your messy behind-the-scenes against everyone else’s curated highlight reel. We aren’t failing; we’re just tired of competing with filters.

We were told that a degree was the golden ticket, but many of us graduated into a world of entry-level jobs that require five years of experience and pay less than rent. It feels like the goalposts were moved just as we started running.
