Even when Jude Bellingham was performing better that season, the club and fans still pushed Vini heavily for the Ballon d’Or. But Mbappe arriving changes the hierarchy automatically. No matter how much Vini tries, Mbappe will naturally become the face of the project. Any major spotlight or individual award attention at the club will likely shift toward him and honestly, I understand the tension.
