@JagexAsh I heard that the website works too sometimes, but I logged onto it to try and it didn't work unfortunately. I'll have to keep trying if it was a recent name change sort of issue. Thank you anyway Mod Ash, I appreciate it :)

@JagexAsh I'm unable to change my name to "Tropius", despite the name being untaken (cannot be added as a friend) and having no inappropriate content in it. Do you know what causes this? It simply says "Name rejected".

@JagexAsh What would cause a name to be reserved? Perhaps the name was just recently changed so it’s in the grace period, or was the user banned or something? Curious to see if I can snag the name at some point in the future or not.

@_Palika_ Frankly, the in-game menu is given very little info by the back-end systems about *why* it can't give a name, and I think it may often say that when a more accurate answer might involve it being reserved, or something like that.
