Last year’s live coverage of the Commonwealth service made no reference to the visible republican protest outside - drummers were at the entrance to drown out the shouting.
The protesters say they’ll be there again next month.

This was the Queen endorsing Andrew after he paid millions to a woman he says he has no recollection of ever meeting. Either Charles and William didn’t intervene – or they did and failed to stop the prince performing such a high profile role at his father’s memorial service.

The demands for accountability are only going to grow.
As I said on @BBCNewsnight , Charles and William must act fast, and not just hide behind bland statements.
If they don’t, they face an existential crisis they are stunningly ill equipped to deal with.

Bizarre to see King praised for saying he’ll assist the police over Andrew. Of course he must. Or was that in doubt?

It is a statement of the blindingly obvious that the palace would support any police investigation.
King Charles needs to make clear that he believes Andrew should testify before US lawmakers.
