Thrilled to share that I've accepted a five-year @Ikerbasque fellowship at @BC3Research! I'll work to scale up evidence synthesis on forest management to aid policy and decision-making. Will also be researching evidence needs of different groups. So grateful for this opportunity!

Delighted Tatsuya Amano, and the translatE project, awarded the BES Equality and Diversity Champion award for their initiative to tackle language barriers and promote diversity in science. An amazing global collaboration of 130 people, including native speakers of 17 languages.

@ju_morimoto Hi Juliano, thanks for the reply. We're looking for someone to talk about experience of using evidence to help make conservation decisions & any difficulties that working in a Global South context presented. I feel like this isn't a great fit for you. What do you think?

@_PhilMartin I was not necessarily planning on going but just yesterday we got some results after analysing 3 species lists, which fundaments all conservation policies in Brazil and the results are striking particularly for insects. Happy to talk about that if you think it is interesting
