Did not think he was worth 8 mil a year especially since we didn’t pay Isaiah Rodgers less than that to retain him prior

For the record, Suarez hit .200 with a .788 OPS in the WBC. He also hit .189 after being dealt to Seattle last year, which no one remembers because he hit the grand slam in the ALCS. Just like you forgot, or just didn't bother to look up, his overall WBC numbers bc of one hit.

Also this is a great lesson of baseball.... Team USA was the best roster in the entire tournament..... on paper. But in the end, they looked like a bunch of individuals rather than a cohesive team.... unlike the DR and Venezuela.

Actually more like F. This was WBC champs or bust..... they fell flat on their faces when it mattered most (except for Bryce Harper but he fell flat a lot of the time when it didn't). A team with the reigning AL/NL Cy Youngs, multiple MVPs, countless All Stars.... lost. Brutal.
