@awisefo @category5music @yaypegs @Nyolings Clarification: Our second offer was non-monetary and offered to pledge our personal resources to house and save their community. We were blocked as a response.

To clarify and rectify a few miscommunications, yaypegs third collection, Animaglia was launched on Solana without the consultation of the community. The mint was rushed, admitted by the yaypegs team. There is no information on whether the developer behind the contract, intentionally exploited the contract to quote-on-quote, "drain" the Animaglia main wallet. According to @metaplex, there was no foul play involved. There's no more update in regards to how this happened, which made me speculate that it could be an inside job. Therefore, the timing of the drain, the execution of the mint and the closed off communication between the team and community, picked up a lot of red flags. 8 months ago, in May 2023, @_Pixel_People_ offered 20e @yaypegs to acquire their collection, their offer was rejected. A few weeks ago, I believe they decided to renegotiate? I'm not 100% sure, gotta wait for the official account to comment. And they got blocked by yaypegs. So you know, bad pr and it's giving off a lot of red flags. Due to their solana wallet getting drained and losing 100k+ usd, they've officially decided to sell their ip. Yaypegs founder is well known for high balling offers. So, I assumed that we ain't gonna get sold unless the buyer high balls as well. And for an art collection with no utility, that ain't happening. So I approached the nyolings community that I joined last December. During the welcoming ceremony into nyolings, it reminded me of @holadataio's warmth and kindness, when I first joined yaypegs with 23 followers. It gave me a lot of nostalgia. Spent a couple of weeks observing them, engaging with them and lurking. Then comes the day where Yaypegs announced that they're selling. A lot of holders who owns a lot of yaypegs, were in chaos in Mari0's X group chat. Everyone started figuring out solutions that could save our home. That's when I went to Nyolings, shared the story and managed to fork out a deal.

So i guess @yaypegs rugged/"got drained"/is for sale and abandoning their community. One of the former community members, @awisefo is also a @Nyolings and told me this tale, and how many ride or die Yaypegs stayed until the bitter end. This resonated with me, we've all been rugged. In the spirit of community and leadership, I made the executive decision to airdrop 9 Nyolings from our treasury to 9 of the most active members of the Yaypegs community. Some of them immediately changed pfps to their new Nyoverse Nyolings on @PolygonCommons. Huge W imho. Many will give up on the road to glory. Nyolings are not going anywhere. We Welcome ALL.
