THANK YOU to Guildford Hockey Club for such a fantastic Men’s Health Awareness Day last Saturday 💙 It was a great event supporting both physical and mental health, and we were delighted to be part of it alongside Andy’s Man Club, Mentell and Everyone Active.

Sean was inspired to support us after a conversation at a local event - a great reminder of how important those everyday conversations can be in raising awareness.

Good luck to Sean, who is taking on the Marathon des Sables in support of The Prostate Project 💙 Known as one of the toughest endurance events in the world, Sean will be covering around 270km over 7 days in the Sahara Desert, completely self-sufficient. Incredible!

Around 12,000 men die from prostate cancer every year in the UK. That’s roughly one man every hour. These figures are a stark reminder of why awareness, early detection, and research are so important.

A petition has been launched calling on the Government to introduce a national screening programme for prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men in the UK, and many cases have no symptoms in the early stages, making early testing incredibly important.

March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, a good reminder to understand the risks and consider getting tested. Key risk factors include: • Men aged 50+ • Black men are at higher risk (around 1 in 4) • Risk increases if a close relative has had prostate cancer

It was great to see so many people come along, including Nigel from the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Cllr Shaun Garrett, and Al Pinkerton MP for Surrey Heath.

We had a fantastic day of free PSA testing in Camberley on Saturday, with over 50 men tested at the Old Dean Youth Centre.
