Lots of experienced punters mocking this guy, but the fact others have been confused by it as well shows bookmakers should explain the market properly and also create a way of updating the handicap table throughout the season.

@nsal_99 All bookies have it on their site and update the table game by game. If people assume they win their bet on what they ‘think’ then that says a lot about them and if it’s not a small percentage like you say then it’s no wonder the bookies make a fortune daily.

@2ColdLK @bet365 Hi, the winning team for the Season Handicap market was Sunderland who recorded 54 Points for the season. When their handicap of +52 was added, they finished with 106 Points. Man Utd finished in 2nd with 92 Points after their +21 handicap was added.

Oh well sadly people ‘thinking’ something doesn’t mean it’s reality.
If you disagree with the market for the season handicap league then just don’t place money on it.
I doubt they’ll change the entire market that’s been going for 20+ years due to a small % not understanding basics.

People really thought you’d get 16/1 for +21 for Man Utd in a simple head to head with the champions? It is no wonder the bookies are rich.

@_ROMemorabilia_ If I bet on a +1 handicap in a game then absolutely nothing else would effect that. It should be the exact same for the league. No need for a handicap table. Offer favourites at - handicaps and longshots at +. Simple
