Trying to take a break between finishing my first draft and diving back in for revisions but UGH I have some cool revision ideas and this self-imposed waiting is killing me but also I know it’s for the best. Gotta give my manuscript time to breathe lol

Currently reading MONSTRILIO by Gerardo Sámano Córdova and I am *obsessed*. The portrayal of grief. The little monster itself. Probably my favorite horror novel so far.

@debsbasement Ahaha this was pre-toast. This was my first time meeting him. Lol. I turned beet red and even asked him what his last name was for his reader reward account as if I, trembling and blushing, didn’t already know his name 😂😭 And he could so tell.

I feel *insane*. I finished my novel today. Like. Ten minutes ago. 87,303 words over four and a half months. The best words I’ve ever written, too.

Well I’m critically obsessed with THE MINISTRY OF TIME by Kaliane Bradley. Up late reading? Check. Crushing on a long since dead arctic explorer? Check.

81,569 words. Four chapters left before I can type “the end”.

Today I went to Shoestring Circus and it was like stepping into another world 💜
