@high_1ntensity Morality = standards of living Your terms/definitions are not sufficient to use the word objectivity. If you have certain beloved truths, that’s great. But no again morality is not objectively provable. Even if everyone where’s the color blue that’s doesnt make it the best color

@_Razzo Not in the sense which I refer. Hence using “10 Commandments” as an example. E.g for aeons, when governed by the church, civilisation had a universal morality, which came with very really consequences for overstepping it.

Have long held the view that things like ‘The 10 Commandments’ for example are ethical principles designed with a view to a stable and orderly life and society. It is only when morality is made subjective, that everything goes haywire.

A mantra I’ve been finding oddly helpful lately when I judge myself for struggling with something is: who am I not to suffer?

@HeidiPriebe1 Absolutely no one ones anything? Really? This is a very subjective extreme swing. It’s like saying everyone knows everything. They are both false. Coming from a place of hurt. Much ❤️ I hope you find your actual answers from reliable sources. Don’t give up! ❤️

What I have learned from this practice so far is that absolutely nobody knows anything. I cannot stress this enough.
