My hottest sports take is that if your stadium was funded by tax payers your games should be on free, network TV. Yes, I'm annoyed that I have to buy 3 streaming services and cable to watch the Spurs playoff games.

Jokic losing a 3 vs. 6 seed first round series against an opponent who’s down their best player and another top five player is something they would’ve put LeBron in a gulag for in the 2010s. Just crazy

One of craziest belts we ever seen from a player to another player. Jaden McDaniels has kicked Jamal Murray teeth in

To address all the messages and comments: If you're a pre-teen and only good because of advanced physical traits (height or body type, or hops) that often hinders long-term ball development. That's obvious. If you're good and it's not because of great genetics, there's still a lot of mental traps you need to hurdle, including falling out of love with the grind, vultures coming around and taking you off track, and, honestly, it's easier to chase someone down than it is to be the one being chased. Now, don't get me wrong, better to be great young than never great! But, this hoop thing is a marathon and, ultimately, the only thing that matters is who is on top going into college, going into the league, and every year in the league. The rest is just stories to tell your kids and grandkids. Anyway, love reading all your takes, whether they agree or disagree with me. Appreciate these convos!

Hear me out: Being good young is almost always a curse.
