@COWCATGames Its def a genre specific thing too imo, like that genre of streamer friendly + coop online game will sell p. well vs. most other genres, esp singleplayer. I try not to think too much on it cause thinking a project like mine would sell that much would be foolish LOL

@lukinu_u As somebody who actively puts games on steam I literally deal with refunds all the time. Making a co-op rage game that has plenty of complaints about poor wifi/networking will net you a high refund rate, its incredibly normal

@TheWookieDavid guess genre is the wrong term, moreso market. Not a lot of ppl who play games touch fighters, and an even smaller percentage of those who touch fighting games will give indie fighters a chance. They're immensely unpopular by most given metrics unless you go a route like YOMI

@TheFrameLocked getting refunds def sucks but 10~% of all purchases do get refunded nd I can def see that number being a lot higher for coop short friend games like this nd stuff like chained together. Would be really interesting to get a better breakdown on refunds per genre imo
