Factual correction: he advised him to accept the LSU job in 2026. Kiffin wanted to coach the playoffs. Ole Miss would not allow that. Not sure why everyone pretends Ole Miss didn’t force him out for accepting a new job next year. Spare me the “he could have stayed.” Yeah and that would have cost him a top-5 job and likely a once in a lifetime opportunity.
