The YouTube video of that letter by @SizweMpofuWalsh has been viewed over 200 000 times and it’s been up for under 24 hours.
What I appreciate is that he takes extensive time to give the other side and to explain the credibility issues with the letter.
We cannot ignore a document that General Mkhwanazi brought forward during two processes which are looking at allegations that he brought forward. Allegations which have been corroborated with evidence.
Dr Mpofu Walsh has been extremely brave to do what the mainstream media was refusing to do. I think they too had the full letter and chose not to publish to prevent their shows being cancelled “for no longer attracting viewers”.

@AdvoBarryRoux Mkhwanazi did not ‘choose parts of the letter to read.’ He submitted the whole letter. Evidence leaders directed him to specific paragraphs and he actively tried to read more but neither the evidence leaders nor MPs seemed interested.

Wow. This is journalism @SizweMpofuWalsh has the letter that General Mkhwanazi submitted to the ad hoc committee. Apparently that letter has explosive revelations from the prisoner who shared a cell with Vusi Matlala.
English

@TsongaOga @MightiJamie @SizweMpofuWalsh Many things that constitute hearsay have been ventilated at the commission. In fact, even some of the July 6 allegations were hearsay. What is strange is that some portions of the letter were read, and others kept hidden.
English

@MightiJamie @_SMWX @SizweMpofuWalsh This letter is hearsay to say the least. This letter is untested nor verified, it coming from Mkhwanazi doesn’t give it credence on its own.
I’ll wait till collaborating evidence is presented

@mphog33 Mkhwanazi thought it was important and called for further investigation. That alone warrants public attention.

BREAKING: A letter from Cat Matlala’s former cellmate, Jermaine Prim—now before the Ad Hoc Committee via Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi—claims Matlala boasted in jail of being involved in moving couches to Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm.

After watching this episode, I literally lost appetite, we are doomed. 💔🇿🇦😓
Thank you @SizweMpofuWalsh for this amazing work. 🤝

@SongezoW91558 @MightiJamie @SizweMpofuWalsh Please watch the full episode: we went into detail about Prim and his extensive criminal history. We also cited this parliamentary question in an earlier episode this week.

@liberated694921 Mkhwanazi said at Ad Hoc “my information is that they were sharing a cell.”
English

@Thee_Inquisitor @MightiJamie @SizweMpofuWalsh Please watch the episode. We make it clear that Prim is unreliable and document his criminal history. Nonetheless, Mkhwanazi saw fit to share this letter and called for further investigation because some things in it have already materialised.
English

@MightiJamie @SizweMpofuWalsh Jermain Prim is a career criminal who never stops lying. The guy is a certified psychophath. Spent his whole life in prison
No one, absolutely no one, should rely on a word he says. Mkhwanazi has made a epic blunder here.
Jermain Prim is the lowest of the lowest scumbag.
English

@sowazis @SizweMpofuWalsh As mentioned in the full video: what matters most is that Mkhwanazi saw fit to share it. And he claims certain aspects of the letter are true such as his meeting with Matlala.
