@_SamDriver No bad outcomes if you are collecting data and making changes based on it!

@thedankoe It took me many years to break the curtain and escape my limiting beliefs.
Once I did, my life transformed.
English

@zee_copywriting The moment I embraced this, soooooo many new opportunities presented themselves 😀
English

@YB_Copywriter So, important and something I have to keep reminding myself of!

I was playing with my kids and caught myself wandering about 𝕏.
"Dad! You're not listening!"
It jolted me back, but the damage was done.
We often overlook the power of now and get caught up in the past/future.
So, anchor yourself in the present by:
▸ Journaling
▸ Practicing meditation
▸ Reducing distractions
Nobody is perfect, but focusing on the now is a true superpower.

@_SamDriver Vulnerability and trust are the foundation for real connection.

@Itz_Alph So true! This could relate to 2 years, 2 months, or even 2 days. The digital space moves at incredible speed!
English

@_SamDriver In 2000 years no one will remember you. Why are you letting anyone’s opinions prevent your success?
English

@newThyselfnow @smartbloggerhq Haha, that's awesome! And thanks 😀
Best of luck to you too!
English

@_SamDriver @smartbloggerhq Best of luck!
I’m just starting out in this too and have a lot of parallels to your story (30s, sales, 9-5, and cats).
I feel excited/terrified/free for the first time in a long time.

@DaveSchmiedecke Awesome! It inspired me to post today. Plus, I used your fancy bullets tips 😀

120 days ago, I started posting on 𝕏.
Haven’t missed a day since.
Made 100’s of friends, posted almost 2000 times.
But most importantly:
I learned a TON about starting as a digital writer.
Here are my Top 10 Lessons:
1/ Post daily. No excuses.
2/ Leverage other creator’s audiences by commenting under their posts.
3/ Test a bunch of content ideas but nail it down to 1-3 main topics fast. Begin broad but be ready to dig deep.
4/ Never, ever be boring. Have some fun (especially in the comments).
5/ The start is supposed to suck. But you’ll be glad you made it through the messy beginning.
6/ Get obsessed over learning how to become a great writer.
7/ People want to read your story WAY more than they want to read platitudes and evergreen content.
8/ Using templates and scheduling posts are totally fine (even if some folks on 𝕏 say otherwise).
9/ Use bullets. They make your writing look good (but avoid “-” and go with “•” or fancy ones like “▸” or “☞”).
10/ Build in public and let others hold you accountable.

Thanks for reading.
I hope this helps! If it did, 2 requests:
1) Follow along on my writing journey @DaveSchmiedecke.
2) Repost this to help another beginner writer on 𝕏.

@_SamDriver The barrier to success has both never been lower and never been higher.
English

@DaveSchmiedecke Nice! Your 90-day sprint is epic (and inspirational). I'm looking forward to seeing the end results.
Perhaps I'll start one soon 😀
English

@_SamDriver I love running similar "experiments" for 30 (or 90) days.
Not too much to handle but still enough to figure stuff out.
English

@ItsKieranDrew This was a massive hurdle for me to overcome. I would procrastinate to my heart's content and use it as an excuse.
Even writing this, I can hear that tiny voice inside... "Don't let yourself be vulnerable!"
Accept it. Put it aside. And grow.
