Points deduction | #EFC If Everton have been found guilty of breaking #FFP play rules & knowingly doing so, they are lucky they’ve not been deducted more points. The rules are in place for a reason, so if you break them and aren’t punished then it’ll open it up for others to do the same & make a mockery of the guidelines. Unfortunately for Everton, someone was always going to be first & now they’ve been punished a standard has been set. I’d guess with a result of this, a few other sides will now be a little twitchy & maybe reassessing what they will do in January. So many are pointing at Man City and shouting hypocrisy, when actually what Everton were charged with and what Man City have allegedly done are different things.
