i love how they have a casual conversation during 100% sprint

the concept of telling me not to speak pidgin cos i’m a fine babe will never sit right with me😂 that’s exactly why i’ll speak it, make you know say princess dey, agbero too dey.

You dare label nwanyi ocha a WW? Someone who is married to an igbo man, bore full bloodied kids and joined iyom as her husband is a well respected ozo in his town. She will be more Igbo than you, if you settle for that yariba man.

“A minor is your househelp?” Yes he is. He works as my child’s nanny. I needed someone to keep my toddler occupied and they brought him from the village for me. Barely any education, can only write A-Z and 1-1000, but can not do 1+1 or spell two letter words, and they say he’s done with school (village school). I saw it as an opportunity to help change his life, so I pleaded with my husband and we accepted him. He plays with my toddler, washes the plates, and goes on errands. I do every other domestic chores and cooking myself (including doing his laundry). He’s currently receiving lessons from a private tutor because he can only understand pidgin and Ijaw, and come September, he’ll start school with my son. I started a piggyvest savings plan for his higher education (same one I have for my sons). He eats and sleeps with my son. I buy them the same quality of wears. Safe to say, he’s very very happy with me. Now why am I giving this long explanation nobody asked for? I usually let people run with whatever narrative of me they want, but as a mum to two boys, I will not let the narrative run that I may be abusing someone’s child. I could have sent him back and stuck to the adult I asked for, but I met him and decided I wanted to be a part of his story. Thank you for reading. 🙏🏾
