@EnemyofGLaDOS @M5Stack Yes. If some lib or firmware is using the GPIO to decode the IR signal, it will not work. The TX part is not a problem. But RX has to use the ESP32 RMT peripheral for signal reception. and note the communication distance and some configurations.

@_SeanKwok @M5Stack Ah interesting. That’s what I was trying to do was get it work as a remote using the IRremote library in Arduino. After failed attempts I flashed Bruce to test the IR reader and still didn’t see anything.

@M5Stack is there a way to test the IR receiver on the M5StickS3 other than flashing a firmware that has an IR reader function? As far as I can tell the receiver doesn’t work :/

@EnemyofGLaDOS @M5Stack You can use the "IR receive & echo" example. When it receives an IR signal, it will dump all raw IR data to the serial. Also, before using the IR receiver, it is important to turn off the speaker amp and keep the sender distance more than 30 cm. docs.m5stack.com/en/arduino/m5s…

@saitotetsuya Hi, the IR receiver example has been updated. docs.m5stack.com/en/arduino/m5s… Note: When using the StickS3 IR RX, the transmitter should be as directly opposite the receiver as possible, with a distance greater than 30cm. Getting too close may cause reception problems.

@_SeanKwok @M5Stack Let me know if I make mistakes. LLM8850 is M2 M key but NGFF? My mistake. Usually I believed M2 M key was only for NVMe. Nobody's perfect. My apologies to bother you with my lack of knowledge.

@M5Stack docs.m5stack.com/en/atom/Atomic… Is the resistor installed between this rs485 and ab a terminating resistor? Typically, termination resistors should only be installed at both ends on an RS-485 network.

@SUM1T4 @M5Stack The 120Ω resistor is not connected (NC). If needed, you may also add the bias resistor between terminals AB.

@M5Stack Incidentally, it also seems correct to install only one bias resistor for each AB for one network.

@Cpt_J_Purcell @M5Stack SCP is a "file transfer instruction", you have to download the UiFlow2 package to your local path first, and upload it to the device via SCP.

@_SeanKwok @M5Stack scp .\uiflow2-0.0.1-cp311-cp311-linux_armv7l.whl this line results in file or directory not found. this is because the path to the server is incomplete

@_SeanKwok @M5Stack I got it working but the instructions are wrong. Namely the link to direct download the file from the server is incorrect. so I had to manually download and copy the file.
