The SBM(G) Assam and the Department of Tourism are collaborating to promote clean tourism and safe sanitization practices by awarding Swachhata Green Leaf Ratings to hotels, homestays, and resorts in and around Kaziranga National Park.
Eleven of these establishments were assessed by sub-divisional and district teams and issued certificates in Golaghat on 8th March '24 based on their waste management and sanitization-related infrastructure.
This initiative coincided with the gracious visit of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi to Kaziranga.
