@rorachoc Cons, arcades, local community events like farmer's markets n whatnot, then search for those similar interest groups.
At this point as well, find lil discords of local UK people of games you love or the genres/shows/etc that you geek out about. You'd be surprised who's out there

The A-12/ SR-71 had a radar cross-section (RCS) of around 110 sq ft (10 m2)—the size of a small private airplane  This was the first stealth attempt on an airplane, although they never called it stealth.  The CIA’s criteria for their spy plane was that there was no repeat of May 1, 1960 when the U2 were shot down in the USSR. The A 12 had to go so fast and so high and they did not want it to show up on the Soviets radar.  The truth is that the Soviet Union did not try to shoot down or intercept an SR 71 because they knew they’d be wasting their ammunition.  Linda Sheffield
