You are too online and seem to struggle with different contexts. A husband buying his wife a nice gift is nothing like a woman upholding gender roles and diminishing her womanhood for him. Couples giving each other nice things is just normal relationship dynamics.

@_SlashJay Not it's not. A point doesn't stand if it doesn't fit the context of the conversation. The original woman wasn't practicing any self-abuse or made herself at the mercy of her partner. She very much takes care of herself on everyday outside of holidays.

it’s funny because there’s no such thing as little boy clothes. this just made me think seriously- and if a man wore the same clothes as he did as a kid (which they do. let’s say he stepped out in a power rangers shirt.) they have ALWAYS done that and have never been demonized
