.@grok isn’t exposing women. It is actually exposing men.
English

@om7545122055047 But again, I totally hear you.
Good men with power and influence need to step in and fix this.
Let’s think of them as “fire fighters.”🚒👨🚒
(If they show up)
But Women and children, at this point, just need to run out of the burning building and seek shelter somewhere else. 😕

If im inside a house and it’s on fire, im not going to stay there and argue with the flames,
im going to walk out of the burning house and find somewhere safe away from the heat so that I am not harmed.
Ofc Not the preferable situation, but the only logical thing to do.

Il est hors de questions que les femmes s’effacent des espaces publics, notamment des réseaux sociaux, juste parce que des hommes rendent ces espaces difficiles. On continuera à être public et à exister sans restriction, le changement doit se faire du côté des hommes.

@om7545122055047 It’s not erasure, but restructuring. And boundary setting.
It’s self preservation in an environment that feeds off your destruction.
Only logical choice is to walk away.
If men end up hating how boring twitter becomes because women don’t feel safe to be here,
let it be so.

@om7545122055047 I hear you 100%. But you’ll drive yourself mad trying to reason and advocate for your safety with unreasonable and dangerous people. They don’t care and they never will.
Save your energy and just protect yourself.
It’s the best we can do.

@SylviaLeery Any silicone oil is gonna open up seams if they weren’t properly glued and/or rolled.
Seems like there was a manufacturing problem with the latex assembly rather than the problem being w/ vivishine.
I used vivishine for years before I switched to “DRIP,”
Never had an issue.

@sexworkceo I appreciate you for clarifying! when I first read your tweet, I interpreted it the wrong way due to my own personal experiences of feeling pressured to loosen or drop my boundaries in order to make income when money was tight.
Thank you for the work you do!

Earlier, a scheduled tweet (probably a month ago) published that said “some of you are one boundary away from doubling your income”. When I wrote this, what I was articulating is "If you draw one boundary you've been avoiding, it could double your income".
For some reason, this is being interpreted as if I’m advocating or encouraging creators to violate their personal boundaries for revenue, which I would not, and have never suggested any creator do. In reality, it was said in the context of encouraging creators to draw more. For example, you're one boundary away (setting the boundary of protecting your time and energy) from doubling your income. I can understand how it’s being read opposite of how it’s intended though so I want to clarify regardless.
I didn’t get hacked. I do have a team that helps me with SWCEO. I’ve been very transparent about that. We’re not always online or fully tapped into every moment of discourse as it’s unfolding. Sometimes things post at the wrong time or get misinterpreted. It is the nature of social media and that's why I always comment and reply head on when things like this happen.
The language felt clear to me. But, for some people, it wasn’t. That’s on me. I’m human, and mistakes happen. I do try really hard to interpret anything I say from all perspectives, but I didn't catch how this would be misconstrued. I deleted the post because it was landing wrong, and I listened to that feedback.
I appreciate the people who called it in thoughtfully. I think the work I do for my community should demonstrate that I would never advocate for creators violating their boundaries, but I also understand that there are still lots of people who haven't the slightest clue who I am either. Not everyone has seen our educational content, courses, podcasts, etc.
I stand firmly for creator safety, consent, and boundaries. Always have. 🤍
