If im inside a house and it’s on fire, im not going to stay there and argue with the flames, im going to walk out of the burning house and find somewhere safe away from the heat so that I am not harmed. Ofc Not the preferable situation, but the only logical thing to do.

It sucks but that is the only logical option. (Most) Men aren’t here to protect women or rescue them, If they wanted to, they would. But most of them don’t. Women must respond logically and appropriately to that information and assume responsibility for their own protection.

These dangerous/destructive people in these spaces, these are not reasonable people. These are unreasonable people. And you cannot communicate reason to unreasonable people. The only option is to remove yourself from the insanity and create your own safe space.

This doesn’t excuse abuse or abusers, but is intended to remind victims of abuse that they don’t have to feel powerless to their circumstances. Shift the narrative and reclaim that power!

When we take responsibility for our circumstances instead of placing blame outward, we reclaim our power; Use that power to manifest the change you wish to see in your life.

Changing your mindset from “Why is this happening to me?” to “Why am I allowing this to happen?” is a game changer.

@SylviaLeery Any silicone oil is gonna open up seams if they weren’t properly glued and/or rolled. Seems like there was a manufacturing problem with the latex assembly rather than the problem being w/ vivishine. I used vivishine for years before I switched to “DRIP,” Never had an issue.

Any of my latex people have input on this statement provided to me by a reputable latex brand: Vivishine products are the reason for a brand new catsuit to be peeling and separating from the seams. Vivishine products are now causing latex to fall apart and should not to be used

@sexworkceo I appreciate you for clarifying! when I first read your tweet, I interpreted it the wrong way due to my own personal experiences of feeling pressured to loosen or drop my boundaries in order to make income when money was tight. Thank you for the work you do!

Earlier, a scheduled tweet (probably a month ago) published that said “some of you are one boundary away from doubling your income”. When I wrote this, what I was articulating is "If you draw one boundary you've been avoiding, it could double your income". For some reason, this is being interpreted as if I’m advocating or encouraging creators to violate their personal boundaries for revenue, which I would not, and have never suggested any creator do. In reality, it was said in the context of encouraging creators to draw more. For example, you're one boundary away (setting the boundary of protecting your time and energy) from doubling your income. I can understand how it’s being read opposite of how it’s intended though so I want to clarify regardless. I didn’t get hacked. I do have a team that helps me with SWCEO. I’ve been very transparent about that. We’re not always online or fully tapped into every moment of discourse as it’s unfolding. Sometimes things post at the wrong time or get misinterpreted. It is the nature of social media and that's why I always comment and reply head on when things like this happen. The language felt clear to me. But, for some people, it wasn’t. That’s on me. I’m human, and mistakes happen. I do try really hard to interpret anything I say from all perspectives, but I didn't catch how this would be misconstrued. I deleted the post because it was landing wrong, and I listened to that feedback. I appreciate the people who called it in thoughtfully. I think the work I do for my community should demonstrate that I would never advocate for creators violating their boundaries, but I also understand that there are still lots of people who haven't the slightest clue who I am either. Not everyone has seen our educational content, courses, podcasts, etc. I stand firmly for creator safety, consent, and boundaries. Always have. 🤍

Sex work should be an OPTION for anyone who wants to go down that path or explore that side of themselves, not an economic trap disguised as “freedom.”

Defending sex workers also means defending their right to LEAVE sex work without punishment, stigma, or financial collapse. It means fighting for livable wages, accessible remote work, healthcare, housing security, and economic structures that make REAL choice possible.

Choice, Consent, and Economic Reality: For the record, I do not oppose sex work. I oppose a system that makes sex work one of the most reliable paths to a livable wage, especially for women, disabled people, queer people, and those without family safety nets.
