Salah: “Last season I wasn’t ready to go… but with now everything going on in the season without going into details, it’s like you know what, it’s time I want to go and of course there’s a lot of things behind the scenes people doesn’t know about it but yeah I think now is the time I have peace with it.”

@LiverpoolZNE He won’t realize how effective Isak can truly be until he plays him alongside Ngumoha😉

Slot is being surprisingly blunt about Isak: the talent is there, but the engine isn't. The most telling detail is that after an action, Isak currently needs recovery time before he can go again 👀: "And it's very helpful for him to get fitter because for him to get the ball more is not only about his teammates, it's also about him. Making more runs, being more available and not after an action needing a certain amount of time to make the next action again."

😁 Pep Guardiola explains why he was in attendance at Stockport-Port Vale on same night as PSG-Bayern. “I saw the calendar, PSG-Bayern, I said what a disaster game, sh*t managers, bad players…”. 😂 “I love English football and I went to Stockport!”. @BeanymanSports 🎥

Clarity over Mohamed Salah’s future could arrive sooner than expected, with Egyptian national team media coordinator Muhammad Murad indicating the forward is just days away from settling on his next club and making it public: “There are news stories being written about him having offers from Italy and France and other big teams in the world – this is, of course, true, he is a big star and would be a big addition to any team,” said Murad as quoted by FourFour Two “Whichever team Salah picks, we will support him – he [also] has offers from Saudi… I think in a few days he will announce his next destination.”

⚽️ Liverpool are a moments team. Nothing more. Nothing less. Three goals. Three flashes. Liverpool take the points against Crystal Palace. The scoreline reads well. The performance still doesn’t. First, the incision. Isak sharp. Clinical. Then the shock. Robertson, of all people, finishing like a centre-forward. Anfield lapped it up. Then the flourish. Wirtz, pure class, gliding through the closing noise to seal it. Moments. Not momentum. Strip it back and the numbers tell a harsher truth. Liverpool lost the underlying battle. Again. Minimal control. Fluctuating rhythm. No pattern that speaks of a side being shaped, refined, improved. This isn’t evolution. It’s improvisation. And yet, there was effort. There hasn’t always been. Woodman stood tall, far better than expected, calm under pressure. Wirtz looked alive, inventive, a flicker of what could be. The basics were met. But the ceiling remains low. This talk of transition demands scrutiny. Transition suggests direction. Movement from one idea to a better one. There’s little evidence of that here. The metrics are poor. The structure unclear. The identity blurred. Still, the table softens the blow. Others falter, Villa today. Liverpool rise almost by default. Fourth now. Within reach of third. It would have been taken without hesitation weeks ago. That is the contradiction. Results without reassurance. Salah forced off, the crowd rising, hoping it’s not the curtain call, and encore is still to come. Liverpool 3-1 Crystal Palace Progress in points. Doubt in everything else.

@Corballyred By the time Slot realizes he can actually play Ngumoha, Isak, and Salah together and win matches with ease, it’ll be too late😉

My thoughts :👇 - We won, but it was a dreadful performance, Palace should’ve scored 5 or 6. - Can’t go through another season of Slotball: CBs endlessly passing before going long. -Woodman was excellent, easily one of our best keeper displays at Anfield this year. -Wirtz looked off it until that goal. Get Slot out, Alonso in, and let the monster loose. -Gakpo can’t start 30+ games again next season. -Gutted this might’ve been Salah’s last game in a Liverpool shirt. -Robertson deserves another year. - Jones has been solid at RB lately, great assist. -Isak’s goal was pure class: elite anticipation and touch. -Tools are there for a quality manager with couple of clever signings for us to be back challenging for the Premier League next season.

❌ "I don't see Liverpool becoming title contenders again if he stays..." ✅ "Liverpool would have more chance [if they sack Slot]" Danny Murphy thinks it would be a mistake for #LFC to keep Arne Slot at the club after this season! 😳
