Watkins has the history, correct. But that history includes a Villa team that is now without Rogers, Digne and Tielemans in one window and he’s still priced at 8m. Last season he was quiet for long stretches early on. At that cost you need him firing most weeks. At a point this season after the initial run he can become great value because he's a streaky player and if you catch that streak you are laughing But the other 2 are cheaper so the bar for points is lower, and neither played full seasons

@nffcsam8 @_TalkFPL Watkins has proven for multiple seasons that he can consistently deliver goals, assists and bonus points in one of the league's best attacks. Jesus and Osula have never shown they can produce anywhere near those numbers over a full Premier League season.

Don't need to "sort myself" Not rocket science the logic behind the pick, and given Leeds give any opposition a tougher game and they've now signed Wilson, I'd expect DCL to be a better pick on paper... And may I remind you he's 2 and 3 million cheaper than Thiago and isak respectively, so a little points loss at a bad case scenario and I'm 2m extra to spend in more important positions... Not bad Besides, if he gets goals in the first weeks and then I sell to a different player, he served his purpose and can again when the time is right

@_TalkFPL People really dont care about consistency, Thiago scored the second most last season breaking records and playing in brentford is decent but calvert lewin is great and joao pedro is even better because he scored a hattrick against a team no one even knows
