@TescoIrl delivery was supposed to be here 6-6:30. It's now half 8 and we are sitting here with no dinner for the night. No call, no update, app just says "on the way". Please have someone contact us asap

Just got this email. The guy on the phone said when a delivery is NOT made the driver returns to the store, puts the items back and a refund is issued. Another lie. If that were true the order would have been cancelled and a refund issued ON FRIDAY. This emails shows that did not happen. The order was cancelled and a refund STARTED by the CSR on SATURDAY while he was on the phone to me. This, only because I called Now I have no groceries and must wait a week to get my €150 back. Again, good companies train CSRs to defuse and deescalate not put petrol on a fire.🔥
