That’s exactly why we left CVS and switched to Costco. When Rite Aid closed down after years with their pharmacy, our records were auto sent to CVS. Every month, there was a problem getting my meds for chronic pain. Switched to Costco and have experienced nothing but excellent service. Pharmacists used to be really knowledgeable when they compounded meds, now they just count pills and the computer does the rest.

Patient presents to Las Vegas ER with acutely herniated disc crushing the spinal cord. Officious retail pharmacist allegedly refuses to fill opioid pain medication prescribed by ER MD. Patient suffers in unimaginable agony for two weeks until admitted to hospital. Yes, we will be submitting a formal complaint to the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy. Yes, we will be filing a lawsuit against the pharmacy. And yes, the ignorant inhumane pharmacist will be named as an individual defendant. @99vinyl @Walmart Isn’t new. It was done as far back as the 80s to mark records that stores couldn’t return to the label if they didn’t sell. Retailers had to sell them or offload them cheaply to local record stores, which then sold them at low prices. It’s always been part of vinyl cycle (sadly).
