🚨ALERT - 1,000 $EGLD possibly scammed + personal information (IRL names/addresses of holders) Don't mint/trade/interact with @dot9app until their team comes forward to address community concerns. I didn't had time to verify DOT9 until now. I've seen them around, but never went to their twitter/website. Today, a lot of people have come forward with inconsistencies and i piled them together (thanks @AlexandruBerce). Their project looks shady af. It looks like an elaborate scam, that you can easily overlook if you're not looking closely. 1⃣ The gold/silver claim section on their website is a joke. There's no wallet verification. Anyone can claim using someone else's "NFT". 2⃣ Their wallet is connected with caviareggs/ihbou scam. The connection is pretty soft, DOT9 team sent 2 EGLD to a fresh wallet that sent the EGLD to caviareggs. Why? 3⃣ Website doesn't have any web3 component (it's just a simple wordpress) and it's missing key information for a business of their size (no privacy info/terms & conditions). 4⃣ Whitepaper and every other details posted on medium, team info and so on seems to be AI generated. Full chatgpt. (by the way, we found this Oscar on ig/fb and we sent him a msg. he has not replied back but, if this is a scam, i assume his identity was stolen from there). 5⃣ They don't have any channel to communicate with their team. Most people i've talked with used twitter to speak with them. And most have received similar bullshit replies. 6⃣ Inconsistencies in mint prices. As a respectable project, you can't afford to do that. You don't ask people to pay "1 EGLD" or "40 USD". You need to have the same price. 7⃣ The promise of a No-KYC Visa card, available also in the US. Completely off (no links with the business model, the so called App etc.) 8⃣ Inactive during mint day. It's been over an hour since i've tried to reach out to them but they have not replied back. Yes, i know, 1 hour is not much, but every legit team has been online for 48hrs during the mint. I would've waited, but the mint is still going. 30 $EGLD more have been allegedly rugged since i started writing this tweet. That being said, please stop minting and interacting with them until they can address everything here (and more).
