Step 1: Identify the Reaction Candle
The first 1-minute candle after the news release is your key.
Its high-low range = 1 standard deviation of expected movement.
All levels are calculated from this range.
Step 2: Calculate Sweet Spots
✅ LONG entry (after DOWN move):
Low − (Range × 0.25) (Range × 0.50)
✅ SHORT entry (after UP move):
Low + (Range × 0.25) (Range × 0.50)
These levels are where reversals often start.
Step 3: Targets
🎯 Target 1: 50% of the reaction range
🎯 Target 2: Full reversal (100% of range)
Stops? Beyond the reaction candle high/low.
Candle Types Matter
1️⃣ Indecision (<30% body)
Small body, big wicks → Perfect for sweet spot reversals
2️⃣ Rocket (≥80% body)
Strong conviction → Often fast moves
3️⃣ Moderate (30-70% body)
