Thank you all for the incredible support you’ve shown Small Thing from the very first hours, Years of hard work are now crystallized in a single contract, and this is just the beginning, thanks to our visionary founder @djedjex. In the coming hours and days, we’ll introduce our advisors and team members, one by one, Before that, here’s a closer look at what Small Thing is : Imagine a fleet of autonomous marine robots, designed to collect, store, and map microplastics in the ocean, continuously and efficiently. Each robot is eco-friendly, solar-powered, and built to operate day and night, forming a connected network that monitors pollution in real time. Using onboard sensors, they detect microplastics, avoid obstacles, and communicate with each other to optimize coverage. Behind the scenes, a central AI system coordinates the fleet, analyzing the data to prioritize areas, adapt to weather, and transform complex technical information into accessible insights for the public and researchers. We are also in touch with several cities to negotiate deployment agreements, with Marseille as our main focus, where the project will initially be implemented and adopted. Our vision is not just local, we aim to make continuous, autonomous ocean cleanup scalable worldwide, starting from the Mediterranean. Through innovation, community participation, and gamified engagement, everyone can contribute, whether by sponsoring robots, participating in competitions, or supporting research. Small Thing is where technology meets environmental action, and where a single idea can grow into a global movement for cleaner oceans.
