This is the tribute of a friend that has embraced the sad outcome long before it happened.
It's easy to tell from his write up that he walked his last days/years with him before the final eye shut. He has griefed, cried, broke down and mourned him before the news of his death made it out here.
Just because he didn't go down the "It shouldn't have been you" route doesn't mean he's not badly hurting.
Allow people grief the best way they know how.

I really envy how men choose themselves. They don’t care about children, status, or what society will say. Once they’re done, they leave and never look back. I wish such level of selfishness on every Nigerian woman!

I hate these labels like “one of Africa’s best.” What exactly does that even mean?
As far as I’m concerned, he’s one of the best players ever in his position, period. Nobody says Messi is “one of South America’s best” or Neymar. It’s such a weird way to frame greatness.
