@SelecaoTalk NONE! The only debate is whether Alisson would get in, but in my opinion he only beats Dida in the ability to play out from the back. But it's hard to measure Dida's skill in that area, since goalies didn't do that as much in his era. And Dida in a penalty shootout, 100%!

@MyDegenFren @SelecaoTalk 100% this. First bad half of a game under Ancelotti, with the blame for the defeat squarely on poor individual decisions and performances by players that won't be in the squad, and now we need the hypothetical player that has not been decisive anywhere for years.

@SelecaoTalk NO! Dont start with this. This is the first “bad” 45min for Brazil under Ancelotti.. playing with B/C squad. Its not like Brazil drew or lost against Iceland (number 74) on the Fifa rankings. High probability that a lot of the players who played today wont even go to the WC.

@SelecaoTalk Yeah, Brazil misses 2015/2016's Neymar. But that player is gone. Has been gone for a while now. Most people saying we still need him, have not watched him in forever and go off of their emotional memories of the player he once was. Can't stay fit and when fit doesn't deliver.

@Semper_fiCFC @SelecaoTalk Alex was too. A number 10 with over 400 goals in official games. He had flair, goal threat, play-making skills and was a leader on the pitch. He doesn't get the praise he deserves because he was overlooked by the National Team, unjustly. But the guy was a beast, like Deco!

@SelecaoTalk Happy to see he was not loaned out to Strasbourg and is getting first team football. He's probably the PL player I'm the most excited to see this season (yes, just because he's Brazilian) Huge potential and, if properly developed, can have real impact on the League.

@SelecaoTalk Most players simply don't have a shot like this in their tool kit, but even less players see a shot like this when in that position/situation. I was fortunate enough to watch the whole 2013 Libertadores campaign in loco. Even past his prime, he was something else.

@eurofootcom Barely had any first team chances at Atletico. Similar to what happened to Savinho. But because we so broke, any money coming our way for our most talented lads and they're off. Rubens is a beast too. Just got sold to Dynamo Moscow. Plays anywhere on the field. He's class.

@SelecaoTalk Man, we sold him for 6 million euros. He barely played for Galo's first team. Some of the supporters were already shitting on him. I don't think I'll ever get over the fact he was here, never got a proper chance, was sold for peanuts and is now playing for City under Pep. 😅

@SelecaoTalk Arguing that Pelé was a fraud can only come from a place of ignorance or dishonesty. And I can understand the ignorance angle, If you don't know the historical context of what was Brazil like when he was around. It makes it hard to wrap your head around just how great he was.

Imagine a league today where every Brazilian in world football suddenly played in Brazil. And then imagine an era where the quality & depth of talent Brazil produced was far better than it is now. That’s what it was like in Pelé’s time. The best league on the planet.
𝗙𝗜𝗔𝗚𝗢@fiago7

People saying Pelé is a fraud because he played in Brazil are finally being exposed in front of the world‘s stage. If Brazilian teams can perform like this in 2025, imagine how tough the league was in the 60s when Europe didn’t even have much more money. 👑🇧🇷

@BlueTacticss @SelecaoTalk Don't forget that Brazilian teams also play in the Libertadores and Sul-americana. So there's even more travel and, at times, you'd play in cities at 3 up to 4 km above sea level in Peru and Bolivia.

🇧🇷🎙️| Thiago Silva Interview on the difference between European & Brazilian football: “In the Premier League. The intensity is completely different, because you play for 7 months in perfect conditions, 18°C. In Brazil, there’s no way with the climate. You put in intensity in the first half, in the second you can’t move. It’s too hot. That’s why there’s not much intensity in Brazilian football. Because of the pitch and the climate. But we can fix the pitch.” @geglobo
