The point is to make every single location as interesting to discover as can be. Even if this is an open world, there should be no blind spots. Everyting you find should be just present more questions.

I finally finished human variants. I think I need to re-make whole hair style, but this is not urgent. Humans are so easy to design compare to non-human models. So they got more variants.

Ok. Finally finish the head set for this bodytype. Now I can generate random variants from the moular parts.

In the concept phase, you can quickly get the effect using a print-screen from Google Map. Most larger cities have rough 3d scans of buildings. You can stretch them to isometric proportions, and then paint the connections between. Such photobashing work as base to paint.
