Under no illusion about our form at the moment, despite injuries we are clueless in attack and weak in defence.
However, the average age of this Wire 17 was still only 25, brought up significantly by two players on the bench. Sky seemed to only mention one sides injuries.

@MattTurner_WG From a neutral perspective I don't think you were far off. Some of the senior players were woeful and were out enthused by their opposites. Thought Irwin, Webster and Ashton were Wire's best.

On reflection, perhaps 'out-enthused' was harsh. I'll own that. I felt at the time that Wigan ran and tackled that little bit harder but that doesn't necessarily mean Wire lacked enthusiasm. Just execution
