I always love it when the tabebuia go in bloom, especially the yellow tabebuia, and I particularly love the yellow against a clear blue morning sky. A couple of my neighbors on my street have them, in different colors.

I decided to play Fire Red because I had never played Red or Fire Red (only Blue, Yellow, and Leaf Green). I've also decided that every Pokémon on my final team is to be a Pokémon I've never had on a team.

Depending on the final forms, this might be the first time I've ever picked the water starter (unless you count the like fifth or sixth time I played Blue, just because I had never picked Squirtle).

@KaijuCarl @AxiomVerge I do not sleep it. While I was playing Axiom Verge, I kept thinking how the game was worth it for the soundtrack alone. (The rest of the game is also really good)

@Rjr2992 I was happy that the Oblivion Remake was announced for Switch 2. I had been holding out for a release on the system. I've also been holding out for a Switch 2 release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

At least it wasn't Skyrim again #NintendoDirect

@PowerUpDan Well, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr was pretty much only Three Houses. May, Jun, July, Sept was pretty much only FF9. Only two games combined made up over half of all my game time last year. Compare to even 2023, which was one of the Switch's best years.

I’m glad the #NintendoYearInReview worked for me after the PlayStation one didn’t! The Switch 2 was my top played platform this year. And shoutout to Pikmin 4, an awesome game.

@PowerUpDan There are definitely things missing from this. Breath of the Wild, off the top of my head, has 225+ hours, and isn't shown in my top games here. Weird.

@PowerUpDan I'm not a completionist type gamer, but I did 100% Pikmin 4.

@mmdman886 @SpawnYaardReply The game's not even open world...it just has a large open desert between regions. The game is otherwise still room based like the other Metroid games.

@SpawnYaardReply I didnt bother. Ever since nintendo went full on open world. An ignored what retro fans wanted this game was kinda doomed since it was protected by fanboys that over hyped the game.

@jezell @SpawnYaardReply I agree, it shouldn't be in the game. So either someone just really, really wanted a motorcycle and added the desert to justify it being in the game, or the motorcycle's in the game to "ease" the desert for the player. Neither should have been in the game.
