When they can see it and experience it, they start to believe it’s something they can do too.

We give our students opportunities to learn real skills and see different career paths. It’s about exposure, putting them in position to learn, grow, and see themselves in spaces they may not have imagined before.

From sports and creative programming to events and resources, we’re building something that brings life back into this space. More details coming soon.

Y&E is taking over the park! This is about creating a space for the community to come together, for kids to be active, and for families to have something consistent they can be part of.

We were able to send McGary’s track team some healthy snacks before their meet today. Always glad to show up for our students.

Thank you to Starbucks for partnering with us to host another Book Fair at Y&E. We appreciate Piece of Cake for donating cookies and cake. The kids loved it!

We delivered flowers to the staff at Piece of Cake, River City Coffee + Goods, Memo Paper Goods, Townsquare Media, and Southwestern Indiana Land Title. Thankful for these businesses and the impact they continue to make in our community.

Our Need to Feed program continues to make an impact by supporting families with pets. Thanks to our partnership with Evansville Animal Care & Control, we’re helping families keep their pets and make sure they’re fed. We’re grateful to be able to give back in this way.

Big thank you to Blue Grass Church for spending time with us today helping serve at our weekly food giveaway.

This Saturday we’re hosting another Y&E Book Fest as part of our book initiative. Access to books matters, and we’re committed to making sure kids in our community have them. Bring your kids out this Saturday between 12:30 PM – 3 PM.

Thank you to Hype Hop Dance Fitness for dedicating a class in support of @_YandE_. All proceeds and donated items from the class go directly to our organization. We’re grateful for partners who show up and give back.

We donated diapers, wipes, and other essential items to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Mobile Care unit. Grateful to support families and help meet real needs in our community.

We donated some Happy Birthday kits to Isaiah 117 House Vanderburgh County Indiana to help celebrate the kids they serve. Everyone deserves to feel celebrated. Huge thanks to Kylie Dunlap for putting together these special birthday kits.

We made a donation of dog food and cat food to Missy Mosby - MM Lovin Local to help families care for their pets. These donations help keep pets at home and with the families who love them. If you’re in need of food for your pet, reach out to Missy for assistance.

Shoutout to my guy Jamal Swope with 4 S Construction for getting our parking lot plowed. He always comes through for us.
