At my lowest…I do not want to speak.

You wonder why people became emotionless, nonchalant and avoidant, it’s because of people like this. This is emotional abuse. You make someone fall in love with you, then suddenly withdraw making them feel pain just because they want to love and be loved.
Never again sha.

Cheating hurts, but emotional neglect can hurt even deeper because it happens slowly. Imagine being with someone who gradually stops caring, stops listening, and makes you feel alone while still being in the relationship. That kind of thing can really mess with you mentally and emotionally.
You start questioning yourself, overthinking everything, and even begging for the bare minimum like attention, affection, reassurance, or quality time.
At least with cheating, you know exactly what happened and what hurt you. But emotional neglect can leave you feeling empty for a long time because the person is still there physically, yet you feel no love, no attention, no connection. And to me, that’s one of the saddest feelings ever.
