It happens that I get a "ranter" in the comments when I post something about $coti Most of the time I ignore them - this is still very much a bear market and most of us are bagholding/deep underwater/down bad. It's difficult not to get stressed/angry/emotional and IMPATIENT and I totally understand that. I am also aware that it rarely serves any purpose to engage. I'm not sure this is any different, but I will engage anyway and give my view on some of the comments made by @hedgefunder01 . I think some of the points could merit some discussion. First though, I need to make an overall point: You invested in $coti for a reason. If you think something has changed for the worse - exit your investment. Also consider that you're commenting (positively or negatively) on the incomplete version of what $coti will be. A bit like a 500 pcs jigsaw puzzle, where you have only matched about 30 pieces. Anyways.. What's the point of $gCOTI? Do we really need it? It's watering down the value of $coti.. Some projects have a governance token, some don't. I don't see why COTI shouldn't have a token with multiple utilities. After all, there will eventually be 100's if not 1000's of (enterprise) tokens on CMD. If we want to this to be a community-oriented eco-system, governance is important however you design it. I really don't see how any of this would water down the value of COTI, and you fail to put a proper detailed argument as to why that would be the case. The native token is the fuel that runs the machine, so to speak. That won't change. Is COTI overvalued or undervalued? If we were to value any cryptocurrency they way Microsoft is valued - then all crypto is GROSSLY overvalued. You will not find one single crypto that is undervalued or fairly valued - not even Bitcoin. That's not the correct way to look at it, though. Crypto is a fundamentally new (and hopefully fairer) way of looking at money. At it's best one of crypto's main purposes is to give those with less means a fairer and easier way to make it in life - to live in decent accomodation, to have access to credit, to be able to participate in the overall market place. Crypto is in its infancy, with very little history making it impossible to value correctly. Some comments about COTI treasury: The amount of rewards distributed is always equal to what is generated in fees. That's the model. I personally didn't like when leveraged staking was introduced, and to some extent the APY boosting capability of gCOTI is fixing that. whether intentional or otherwise. Personally, I am X1 360 days. I am making the bet that eventually the rewards will be valuable enough to constitute a proper passive income. As with any other investment, I could obviously be wrong. COTI Team is just using gCOTI to raise more cash: This may not be commonly known, but COTI is financed by outside investments, as well as their in-house trading algo. Between the two, they make enough money that they can funnel all the fees generated back to their users. If gCOTI was "just" meant to be a money maker, we would have seen it a lot quicker!! These are my thoughts. I know i'm not gonna change @hedgefunder01 's mind and that's ok. He is entitled to his opinion!!!! Nothing wrong with having adult discussions around the project :-) As always, I am gonna preach patience. We are miles away from "only up" and "to the moon" in my opinion. Look at the fundamentals. If they remain positive or even improving - just stay the course. If you think you have bet on a loser - set it free. It's not worth the stress being invested in something you don't really believe in. Have a great week, and stay $coti
