Disregarding the triple teams and 7’5 disrupter in the paint

Shai looking kinda ordinary without all those free throws

Shai played bad. Chet did awful. We got out rebounded by 21. Ajay didn’t show up and it still took them 2 overtime periods to beat OKC. Thunder fans I think we will be ok, we knew this series would be a battle. #thunderup

Might have to draft him since Chet don't wanna be a grown man and guard him

Wembanyama is a cheat code - any agile 7'3 player that can shoot the three and dribble is a cheat code. Offensive and Defensive cheat code. This is why in convinced Aday Mara could be a steal at 6th 7'3 w. a higher standing reach than Wemby at 9'9.

@frxnkmarco @DamienPetersNBA Chet is running from the matchup and he needs to be a grown ass man and go guard that man 😭

@DamienPetersNBA Yea when I saw fuckin Alex Caruso consistently on Wemby I genuinely questioned what they were doing

The NBA is in a weird place where a 7’1” star who finished 2nd in Defensive Player of the Year voting doesn’t guard the opponents best player at 7’5”. We all understand the logic behind it, but in theory it doesn’t make any sense. I felt the same when Anthony Davis, one of the all-time great defenders in league history would not take the matchup on Nikola Jokic when it mattered most. I do wonder in some ways whether we are overcomplicating things schematically.
