This feels like when I go to the doctor and say “I have a problem” and the doctor proceeds to explain to me the three reasons why that’s not true and I don’t have a problem. Mikey again hits on: > Ad Blocker impact > Number of streams you can watch > Chatter list vs view count He says Twitch’s lurker viewer count algorithm has not changed and remains exactly the same as pre-viewbot-attack changes. I don’t think we will ever really know what happened to lurker count.

Hey Christians. Who cares if an AI artist is number 1 on the Christian chart and who cares of Skillet came out with a Christmas song that you don’t like the style off. Those two things are doing something that complainers and keyboard warriors on the internet are not doing. Reaching people for Christ 🤝 PREACH THE GOSPEL.

Hey I was an AI major in Uni and one thing I can say on this is that it’s such a new field it’s really hard to define what it means to “train” AI. The safe option is to separate AI music and normal music but at the end of the day, training and AI involves making an AI listen to music to know how to make music, my argument has always been “Are we stealing from artists if I reference their art when i teach a human?” I personally beleive alot of the fear comes from AI companies not taking enough time to educate people on AI as a whole and that until they do then we should keep them seperate.

@deadlydill There is nothing truly new under the sun, agree. I also agree preaching the gospel is good. But AI music to accomplish that is ehhhhhh sticky. Reminds me of the AI “talk to Jesus” app—do you think these things are similar?

I am of the belief that streamers should be professional. That’s a big thing to unpack, but one piece of professionalism is SPEAKING WELL. Reducing “filler” words helps deliver your message to your viewers in an efficient, clear way. Profanity = filler words, BTW…

The best protocol to eliminate filler words (ummms etc.) These are otherwise very difficult to eliminate b/c they happen reflexively. Matt Abrahams on the Huberman Lab podcast out now all about how to speak clearly and with confidence.

It’s such an interesting thing—like why are some words “worse” than others? So on one hand I get why people don’t think it’s a problem. On the other hand, I think Christians are called to live differently and eliminating profanity can be one of those examples. AND I absolutely think it sounds more professional haha
