Piedmont Wildlife Center joined us for an in-house field trip experience today and taught us all about animals that are native to NC! This was such a fun way to introduce our next EL module, which focuses on animal adaptations 🦉🦅🐍🐢

Students explored the concept of refraction with flashlights and prisms to make rainbows during science today! My investigators even used mirrors and water bottles as tools to experiment! They had some neat findings 🌈🪞🔦

“Todo el mundo sonríe en el mismo idioma” Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by researching leaders in the Hispanic community! 🎊

Snap circuits were a hit this week! Students synergized to create open and closed circuits to explore electrical charge and circuitry ⚡️💡🔋

Had the best best best Friday taking care of our carrot seedlings, checking on the chickens, and reading with our 4th grade book buddies. Learning outside the classroom always puts everyone in a good mood 🥰👩🏼‍🌾📚🐓 #GetOutsideToday
