This. I can’t stand this fandoms inability to see anything beyond pure white and pure black.
Sylus is a fluid character. He’s never been only one or the other.
He can be soft, he can be rough. He can be dominant, he can indulge all of MC’s desirs, he can be gentle, he can be firm, he can be all at the same time. Or depending on the mood.
He said it himself. He’ll do WHATEVER. As long as he has her consent. So if YOU don’t want Sylus to do something to you, he simply wouldn’t do it.
He’s such a multidimensional character and this fandom reduces him to either being pure vanilla or this rough dom mafia boss. Like there’s no in between.

two things can be right at the same time, his intensity as a character from his archetypes doesn't negate the subtle softness that's shown to directly contradict it. you don't have to stand on one side only and defend it furiously. appreciating all sides is the ideal really.
