your question suggests a citizen isn’t required to have good conduct and be respectful while being out in public. also, an officers physical manhandling of a perp isn’t an ethical violation of public safety protocols when dealing with a threat. that person was fighting another officer and that alone is an extremely dangerous situation, with other innocent people in close proximity. her job is to neutralize the perpetrator in a physical way. that doesn’t make what she did “assault”. law officials have a different set of rules afforded to them by the people they protect, whether you agree with it or not, the majority is what matters, and we as a majority will allow this to happen to those who do not conform to societal expectations and refuse to comply to an authority’s commands. they are commands not requests btw.
