@___BMA___ @autopolis1 I think it's less the size of the GT3s, more how aggressive they have to be with how competetive the field is nowadays, as evidenced as Estre's murder on that GT4 Aston last year

I find it pretty funny that people can say this when the Nurburgring 24 Hours used to be the global "Bring whatever shit you can find" race Would the event today be attracting F1 stars if it had remained on this path and not gone down the GT3/GT4/Track Focused race car route?

@jeracerx @autopolis1 Its a struggle to get it to change much based on the nature of the circuit alone, plus you have to factor in the weather and the fact that realistically a modern GT3 is a bit big for this place

@afikkusan9618 Unfortunately the EU is prone to the occasional insane bureaucratic decision. It's why leaving it was a tempting proposition for a few countries until someone decided to be the guinea pig and showed everyone how shit a decision that could be 😂

@___BMA___ EU noise regulations sucks ass. All those cars on the grid sounds heavenly outside of EU and suddenly it sounds like a sleepy engine when it raced in EU.

Verstappen showing up to the Nurburgring and being fast is cool and all, but these cars sound like absolute SHITE and I don't care what EU bureaucratic rule that has to adhere to It sucks

@monzabanking The biggest issue with Nords really is the width of the place. That sort of combo with the nature of the track itself and GT3 cars being entered is sadly a recipe for disaster Now if they did it somewhere nice and wide like Spa (on the even years that F1 doesn't go) 🤔

@___BMA___ Everything has its good and bad sides. There’s still series that do the ‘bring whatever shit you can find’ stuff, but then again, they face obstacles much different to the Nürburgring. Things will happen, wether I like them or not

@RatRunner48 Oh absolutely. And in all fairness, even if you could hobble around in a T5 Transporter, most would still be out there in Caymans and BMW cup cars. That's probably more of a factor as to why the imaginative choices faded away

@JaroslavHonzik I've seen the argument against GoPros being mounted inside the car rising a lot in the last 2 years and it is frankly moronic. I have seen on at least 2 occasions in the UK where an official has said they're not allowed, whilst being mandatory in the series regulations 😂

There is nowadays a lot of confussion and a lot of talk about these cameras on helmets😱 I got actually in a lot of talk with FIA and stewards about it in Clio Cup Europe (Couldnt use any helmet camera and also had trouble using even gopro inside the car...) and also recently with KTM GT car in Red Bull Ring where even sticker on helmet was too much😅 It's understandable safety thing I totally get it (basically to explain you can use anything you want and any camera you want on helmet in private test, but not in official practice,quali,race in any series) but at same time its shame there is nothing going on in this regard from manufactures. F1 is using one of its kind camera that you can't buy so there is literally no option at all apart of obviously rollbar camera. Also reason WHY it is banned of course because of safety (in some huge incident it can literally break your head) but main issue is M Schumacher skiing incident with Gopro...(literally in FIA document) ☹️ ALSO important to say there is never any talk about it and no mentions as well, so I can totally see drivers putting camera on helmet to have cool video and suddenly stewards are mad and giving them fine😆and also there is a lot of confussing from stewards/scrutenering/fia about it as well. One day some stuff is fine next day not, next day again fine, etc. Hopefully in future manufactures will give options for helmets inside or some other solutions :)
