@Wxholical737@StoolGreenie Not a terrible take, regression could have just coincided with Tatum’s return. Showing fight tonight though (fuck Sam hauser)
@___Lenz@StoolGreenie This is very true I think not even Tatum ruined it but people were so surprised by our success but that surprise has worn off and now we are just a team that sucks agaist any strong contender and show flashes agaist the fucking midddle of the pack teams like heat
@___Lenz@StoolGreenie I think he can be good enough to help them in a big way. Before he had that rough game against Memphis no one seemed very concerned. I guess time will tell. Like I said, I think a lot of it is the mental and at times he has looked like the old JT.
@maximccan@StoolGreenie No but that line of questioning is sort of missing the point. If the assumption is that he’s going to get better at some point in the future then he should have just waited. I don’t see a progression in these 8 games that shows he should be a high volume scoring option this year
@___Lenz@StoolGreenie Did you expect him to come back and be vintage Tatum right off the bat? I don’t think he’s magically going to get better, it will be gradual. It’s mostly mental at this point. When he gets comfortable he is more efficient
@maximccan@StoolGreenie We now have a pretty good sample size of poor efficiency I don’t expect it to magically change. It’s also a well documented phenomenon following this injury. KD made people forget how much this injury ruins basketball players
@___Lenz@StoolGreenie He will be more efficient over time. They have looked good with him back except the last 2 games. Can’t overreact to a couple games. Tonight they missed a bunch of layups and wide open shots
